Pavones Vacation Rentals

Finca Estrella, with its stunning views of Pavones Bay, the Gulf Dulce, and the Osa Peninsula, is a 150 acre jungle paradise snuggled into the hills of Cuervito de Pavones in Southern Costa Rica. We are an hour from the local Golfito airport, and only ten minutes from world-class beaches.

The Finca is home to us, as well as to the friendly Tico (Costa Rican) families that have lived here for generations. If you are looking for immersion into Costa Rican culture, this is the place to stay. The two houses on the Finca are elevated enough to catch the cool breezes, and there’s so much to do that you can enjoy your time without ever leaving, if you choose! Lounge in a hammock or at the pool, watch wildlife from your terrace, trek with Freddy or Enrique to nearby waterfalls, venture out on horseback, and much more.

You can rent either of our properties - Casa Del Sol or Casa Amarilla - for as little as $80 a night or $400 a week, plus discounts for extended stays.

“…the most scenic place we have ever stayed at in Costa Rica. The house is spacious and has a great style to it… It was such a terrific experience for us and our kids - we saw all kinds of animals and birds right at the house. I can’t recommend this place enough for people who enjoy nature and would like to experience it in its original state.”

“A luxurious and private jungle home with all the amenities… The Finca has an amazing community. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived… The view from the property was unbeatable. This was immersion, not tourism, and it was better than we could have ever imagined. We can't wait to return.”
